For Senior Health Physics Technicians the Health Physics Fundamentals Exam is good for 5 years. 80% is required to pass exam. Junior Health Physics Technicians are not required to take the Fundamentals Exam.
Bring two forms of valid identification (i.e. Driver’s License and Social Security Card) or other Government Issued Identification.
Clothing shall be suitable for the work being performed and should be clean and free of holes, tears, and inappropriate words or phrases.
Boots/shoes with sturdy upper leathers are required in the power block. Steel or composite toe boots / shoes may be required depending on certain jobs or locations such as the Turbine Deck or warehouses that are posted as such. Casual shoes may be worn to and from work. Cell phones with cameras are allowed on site, as long as the camera is not used.
Show up time is 0600 in Room 215 in the Training Building. Included is a Map to the In-Processing Center and also Directions for the Area.

Location
Millstone is located in southern Connectict, in the town of Waterford, 45 miles southeast of Hartford.
History
The Millstone site was originally a granite quarry, which operated from 1834 to the early 1960's. Granite quarried from Millstone was used in notable structures such as the Statue of Liberty and Grand Central Station. The site now has three reactors: Millstone 1, a boiling water reactor which is now shut down for decommissioning, Millstone 2, an 870 MW PWR, and Millstone 3, a 1,150 MW PWR.
