Welcome to the 1R14 Limerick Spring Refuel Outage.I'm Ed Robinson your Bartlett site manager here at Limerick. I look forward to working with the returnees and the first time workers to Limerick. Limerick is located 21 miles northwest of Philadelphia PA. in Pottstown PA. Just off route 422 at the Sanatoga exit. The Outage is in Late February and will run approximately 20 days.

 

On your first day you need to report at 06:00 at the LTC.(Limerick Training Center) this is off of the main site so one needs to allow to take a shuttle bus from the main parking lot to the LTC. Shuttles will be in front of the PPC. ( Personnel Processing Center) as you travel up the main access road you will pass the cooling towers on the right, as you continue on you will see the the main parking lot , look for the tan building at the end of the lot. Once at the LCT you will pick up your Bartlett folders, and have a short Bartlett outage kick off meeting. There will be someone to direct you to meeting area. At the end of the meeting you will start your Exelon in processing.

 

 

As each of you sign on to Limericks outage feel free to email me or call if you have a shift preference. I will do my best to place you on the shift you perfer. For the RP's Exelon house RP supervisor has final say on shift so the earler you contact me the more I can do to help you out. please note I need all request no later then 2 weeks prior to your start date. TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS

It is required that each employee has their own transportation!!! If you have a issue I MUST KNOW 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOU START DATE. If you show up at training/on site with this issue be forwarned that you run a HIGH RISK OF HAVING A SHIFT ISSUE I CAN'T FIX.

 

Limerick Generating Station, located in Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, is a two-unit nuclear generation facility capable of producing enough electricity for over 1 million homes. The plant site is punctuated by two natural-draft hyperbolic cooling towers, each 507 feet tall, which help cool the plant.

Limerick's two boiling water reactors, designed by General Electric, are each capable of producing 1,143 net megawatts. Unit 1 began commercial operation in February 1986, with Unit 2 going on-line in January 1990.
