Late breaking info: A portion of rte 94 from Jefferson City to the Callaway plant will be closed for repair. Those planning on staying in JC may want to divert to Fulton or Columbia. There will be a gravel road detour available or drive to Fulton, then out... either way the drive will be longer. I confirmed this
over the weekend. The work starts 9-19 and does not have an end date posted.

Safety shoes with composite or steel toes, safety glasses with side shields, gloves on person, and hard hats are required in the plant and when traversing certain outside areas at the plant site. We recommend composite toes for safety shoes, because steel toes will alarm the metal detectors in our Security Main Access Facility. Otherwise, steel toes are acceptable. We will supply you with non-prescription standard or over glasses safety eyewear, gloves, and a hard hat. For additional information, we will gladly provide a copy of the Callaway Plant Safe Work Practices Manual.

There are 2 sets of security forms required at Callaway. Both forms can be printed from the links in the upper left hand corner of this page.
Bartlett Forms - Print the appropriate PHQ as per the instructions and fax to Bartlett.
Callaway Form - Also print the Callaway Security Form and fax to Callaway.

Located just south of Columbia on Highway 63, about one hour from the plant site. This
is a small regional airport, and is presently served by Delta Airlines, with service from
Memphis.
St. Louis International Airport (Lambert Field)
Located west of St. Louis, just off of I-70, about two hours from the plant site with the
normal congestion. This airport is served by all the major airlines.
Kansas City International Airport
Located North of Kansas City, off of I-435, about three hours from the plant site. This
airport is served by all the major airlines.

Most technicians stay in either Fulton (20 minutes)
Jefferson City (30 minutes) or Columbia (40 minutes)
There are also RV parks available, check the Nukeworker
site (look under Callaway & Callaway Lodging)
